Cancer Center Named in
Honor of John W. Estabrook
Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center bears the name of the man who led Methodist Hospital and Methodist Health System (MHS) to new heights of excellence throughout his four decades of service to our organization. MHS President Emeritus John W. Estabrook headed Methodist Hospital
from 1959 until his retirement in 1992.

Community & Business Cancer Screenings

Because early detection remains our best weapon in the war against cancer, Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center offers cancer screenings and education from trained health professionals. Last year, more than 2,000 people participated in community cancer screenings.

In addition, Methodist offers breast cancer and prostate cancer screenings to area businesses at special corporate rates, allowing businesses to easily offer their employees this important, potentially lifesaving benefit.
